Joe’s Butcher Shop and Fish Market in Carmel was started by Joe and Kathy Lazzara in 2006. For 17 years they have provided the area’s finest local beef, pork, chicken, lamb, veal, sustainable wild caught seafood along with gourmet sandwiches and legendary service.
Joe and his five brothers and sisters developed a passion for food and cooking growing up on the east side of South Bend sharing their family’s cooking and frequenting the Farmers Market, Puzzello’s Market, and Bamber’s Superette.
He traces his Italian heritage through his grandparents from Termini Imerese, Sicily to the US in the late 1800’s.
