“Puglia and the History of Olive Oil” by Professor Carl Ipsen

Hosted at the Glendale Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library in March of 2023, Professor Carl Ipsen discusses his recent sabbatical research on olive oil in the Puglia region of Italy. Professor Ipsen, a member of the IU Faculty since 1994, is an historian of modern Italy. He is a fellow in the American Academy in Rome and is a founding member of the IU Food Institute.
